Conference: Translation of EU Legal Texts: Experiences and Prospects[

Today, a conference on translation of legal texts in the European Union was held in the Institute of Applied Linguistics, University of Warsaw. The event was organized by the Polish Language Unit of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Translation in collaboration with the Institute of Applied Linguistics. Łucja Biel, principal investigator in the Eurolect project, delivered a keynote speech on the challenges and prospects of EU legal translation.
